Inspired by Médecins Sans Frontières' / Doctors Without Borders' commitment to service and embrace of the oneness of the world, the Music Without Borders 2016 Campaign raised $15,000 in support of the organization through various events, including a gala concert at the University of Toronto Schools in Toronto, Canada on
April 2nd, 2016. Along with performances from Canada's leading young musicians in a variety of genres, the concert featured a keynote address from Dr. James Orbinski, the former president of MSF International
who accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the organization in 1999. A network of youth volunteers with diverse talents from around the world collaborated, with each volunteer contributing to the overall success of the project. Read more about these volunteers here.
